About Us
Hi, I’m Sara, owner, curator, treasure hunter, and the heart behind Purvéy Minden. I have a deep love for historic places, forgotten beauty, and giving old things a brand new chapter. Purvéy is an extension of that heartbeat.
Housed inside a beautifully restored 1932 building in the heart of downtown Minden, Louisiana, Purvéy is my take on what a vintage shop should feel like: curated, inspiring, nostalgic, and full of soul. Here, you’ll find racks of reloved and vintage clothing, cozy flannels, worn-in band tees, the softest sweaters, timeless denim, and one-of-a-kind pieces you simply can’t find anywhere else. I handpick every item, searching for textures, patterns, colors, and stories that deserve to live on.
But Purvéy is more than a shop. It’s part of the revival happening in our little corner of Louisiana, a place where community gathers, creativity is sparked, and people discover pieces that help them express who they are. We have clothing available for men, women and children. Adult sizes range from XS to 5x and everything in between. Kids sizes range from babies to teens. Again, you have to check in frequently as the rarer sizes tend to sell out more quickly.
What sizes do you carry?
We are always on the lookout for amazing teammates. If you think you've got what it takes, have a strong work ethic, are drama-free, love retail and/or vintage clothing, and are dependable and trustworthy, drop Sara an email and tell her why you want to work at the cutest vintage clothing shop!

Great question! Since we have to carefully curate our inventory, we have created an easy to fill out form that you can submit and we will be in touch! Follow this link to get started.
I have some clothes that I would like to give or sell to you. How can I show you what I have?
We have an “All Sales Final” policy. We highly encourage you to try on before you buy if you have any doubts about fit.
Can I return something I bought?
We price each item according to its fair market value based on brand, age, condition, rarity, etc.
Some of your items are really inexpensive, and some are considerably more. Why?
Yes! We spend a great deal of time processing our inventory. Almost all of our items have been washed, dried, steamed, pressed, and/or stain treated as needed. Occasionally, we may come across a sensitive or truly rare item where laundering would destroy it. In that case we try out best to spot treat and clean as effectively as possible.
You sell used clothing…is it clean?
We're putting items on the racks all day, every day! You could come in every single day and find something you didn’t see the day before. It's important to stop in frequently to make sure you source our top finds. They go QUICKLY.
How often do you restock?
Most of our inventory is either vintage (2000s or earlier) or modern reloved must-haves, but we occasionally stock new items from small makers, artisans, or sustainable brands that complement our vibe.
